All of the following motorway waypoints have been obtained by using Garmin's Mapsource® UK and Autoroute 2001. All waypoints are in WGS84 datum and should only be used for recreational purposes and NOT for primary navigation. If you find any waypoint to be incorrect please tell me and I will rectify it as soon as possible. I have tried to make the waypoint names logical, but as most Garmin GPS waypoints are limited to 6 characters this task is not that easy. If you have another make or model that stores more than 6 characters then you can edit these yourself, it seems best to use the worst case scenario then everyone is happy. Hopefully the description that goes with the waypoint will help here as well. NOTE: All West Longitudes are indicated with a - symbol before the co-ordinates

The following waypoints have been provided by David Bagshaw, in addition to the notes at the start of this page, please also note the following from David: "Although I have used these waypoints to datum ED 50 with a 16 Mtr boat with a 2Mtr draft, depths in this estuary frequently change, some times overnight, (an anchorage we used some years ago is now no longer approachable even at high water!!!), thus they must be used with caution and in conjunction with an up to date chart. Also all waypoints used should be plotted on the chart to verify their position and accuracy. Consideration should be also given to the direction of approach. I accept no responsibility for accuracy or suitability of use whatsoever" |
